Hello, dear watchers. Today I am going to share with you some of the most important things in my life: my causes. I'm going to leave this journal up here in hopes that visitors may as well see it. These causes are worth fighting for, and no matter how small, how seemingly insignificant our voices may seem, the fact remains that we still have them. We were given our voices for a reason; to shout with them against injustice.

In addition, I am starting up a new project. I'll be illustrating for some of these causes and putting the illustrations up here, on facebook, and my website in order to spread awareness.

Remember: Donate with care! There are many great sites, but some may use your money better than others. Do your research.

Abortion is an issue that many find difficult to face; it is deeply personal. However, the indisputable fact is that at conception, there is a new life, with its own complete DNA. We should not have the right to end a life, no matter what circumstances. We have dehumanized these unborn babies in order to accept what is happening, just as settlers dehumanized the Native Americans, and Hitler dehumanized the Jews. The fact is that by the time most abortions are committed (10 weeks), the fetus can feel pain. They have a beating heart. They are their own person, with a right to life same as us. As well as ending a life, abortion leaves a permanent scar on the mother, many times leading to depression, and long lasting nightmares. It can also impair the ability to conceive and successfully carry future children.

For the Children

Children everywhere are hungry, sick, orphaned, and abused. Here are some great sites I have found that help children.
Compassion International supports children through sponsorship. With a small payment each month, you are giving this child a hope for their future, and protection against AIDS. You have the unique experience of having your letters translated and sent to your child, and having your child's letters translated and sent back to you.
World Vision allows you to use donations of any size to help anywhere you want, or to just give where most needed. One thing that I love is the bracelets; beautiful hand-made bracelets you can buy, and the money will go to either girls being exploited in Thailand, or orphans in Uganda.

Fight against animal cruelty

God gave us these beautiful companions to care for, to cherish and to love. Many people take their anger, their pain and their frustration out on those who cannot fight them. These animals are often starved, beaten, or, in the case of Puppy Mills, live out their lives in a cage only to be bred over and over until they die. Someone has to be their voice.
